Hi! My name is Steph Henderson and I'm a 23 year-old actor, writer, and sound recordist from Atlanta, Georgia. I identify as gender fluid and use they/them pronouns.

I've been studying the performing arts since I was 12 years old, but I've been a performer for my entire life. I started dancing at age 3, singing at 8, and acting at 11. I attended Dekalb School of the Arts for all of high school. It was there that I discovered my love of film production. Whether it be writing, directing, or editing, I want nothing more than to be involved in the creative process. I graduated from Oglethorpe University in 2022 with a BA in Acting and Film/Video Production, I finished my academic career in the Oxford University Study Abroad Program where I spent a semester honing my writing skills in one-on-one tutorials for both screenwriting and feminist film theory.

In 2018, I was awarded "Best Actress" at the Georgia Theatre Conference for my role as Agnes in "She Kills Monsters".

 

Since I found a love for expression very early, I've always had a clear vision of myself and the life that I wanted. I just want to work and be a part of the process. Anything to be around creativity.

More recently, in 2023, I performed improv and sketch comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe festival with the Oxford Revue.

In 2024, I've worked on some amazing projects in a variety of roles: actor, script supervisor, sound mixer, PA.

I like to think of myself as a Swiss Army Knife on set, constantly developing new skills and finding my niche. I hope to use all of these experiences to produce my own work.
